Introduction
DIY Cafe Space respects reader privacy. This policy describes information that may be processed when people visit or use the site. The site does not currently offer user accounts, comments, payments, downloads, or email subscriptions.
Information We May Collect
Hosting, security, and analytics services may process basic technical information such as browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, and diagnostic events. If a contact form is enabled, we may receive the name, contact details, and message a reader voluntarily submits.
Technical logs may also include request URLs, response status, language preference, screen or viewport information, network identifiers, and events used to detect errors or abusive traffic. We do not currently invite readers to create profiles, post comments, store payment details, download account-linked materials, or provide information through an email newsletter signup.
Contact messages may include any information a sender chooses to place in the form. Readers should not send passwords, payment-card information, government identifiers, medical records, or other sensitive personal information through the contact channel.
How We Use Information
Information may be used to operate and secure the site, diagnose technical problems, understand which pages are useful, improve navigation and performance, prevent abuse or spam, respond to messages, and measure affiliate-link activity where applicable.
Aggregated or de-identified usage patterns may help us decide which recipes, equipment guides, or space-planning topics are easiest to find and where pages fail to load correctly. Contact information is used to review and respond to the message, manage rights or correction requests, and protect the site from abuse. We do not use contact submissions to enroll a person in an email marketing list.
Cookies and Analytics
Analytics, hosting, security, and preference tools may use cookies or similar technologies. Readers can limit cookies through browser settings, although some site functions may work differently. DIY Cafe Space does not currently offer an email subscription and does not collect email addresses for marketing newsletters.
Cookies can be session-based or remain for a defined period. Necessary technologies may support security, traffic routing, and basic site operation. Analytics technologies may help count visits, understand navigation paths, measure page performance, and identify broad device or regional patterns. The exact vendors, retention periods, and available consent controls should be identified in the published policy when the production analytics configuration is locked.
Affiliate Links
Some outbound links may contain affiliate identifiers. A third-party merchant may record a click or qualifying purchase and may pay DIY Cafe Space a commission at no additional cost to the reader. The merchant’s own privacy policy controls its processing.
Affiliate tracking may involve a cookie, referral parameter, or similar identifier managed by the merchant or affiliate network. DIY Cafe Space does not control how a third party combines that information with an account or purchase history a reader has with that third party. Readers can avoid affiliate tracking by not using affiliate links and may navigate directly to a merchant instead.
Third-Party Services and Links
The site may link to stores, manufacturers, publishers, platforms, or other resources. Their privacy practices, cookies, prices, availability, and content are governed by their own policies, not this policy.
Production hosting, content delivery, anti-abuse, analytics, and contact-form services may operate from infrastructure in the United States or other countries. A link to a coffee-machine maker, retailer, recipe source, or apartment product does not mean that DIY Cafe Space controls that party’s data practices.
Sharing and Sale
Information may be handled by service providers that support hosting, analytics, security, contact delivery, or affiliate measurement. It may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary for legal, safety, or compliance purposes or as part of a site ownership transfer. DIY Cafe Space does not state that it sells personal information.
Service providers should receive only the information reasonably required for their role and remain governed by their own agreements and legal obligations. Information may be preserved or disclosed to investigate fraud, security incidents, rights violations, or unlawful activity, or to respond to valid legal process.
Reader Choices
Readers may adjust browser cookie controls, avoid submitting optional contact information, and review third-party privacy settings before following external links. Official contact information will be published when contact channels are enabled for this site.
Depending on location and applicable law, a reader may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. The availability and scope of a request depend on the information held, the service providers involved, and applicable law. A verified request channel should be added when official contact operations are enabled.
Children’s Privacy
DIY Cafe Space is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly seek personal information from children.
Security and Retention
Reasonable safeguards may be used, but no website can guarantee absolute security. Information is retained only as reasonably needed for operation, security, analytics, responses, and applicable legal obligations, subject to the practices of the services involved.
Different records may have different retention periods. Short-lived logs may be used for troubleshooting, while security events or correspondence may be kept longer when reasonably required to resolve an issue, document consent, protect rights, or meet legal obligations. Data that is no longer required should be deleted or de-identified when operationally practical.
Do Not Track and Automated Privacy Signals
Browser privacy signals are not interpreted uniformly across services. Where applicable law or a production consent platform requires recognition of a supported signal, the published implementation and policy should describe how it is handled. Browser settings can still be used to limit cookies and other storage.
International Visitors
Readers may visit from different regions, and service providers may process information where they operate. This policy does not claim jurisdiction-specific compliance that has not been separately reviewed.
Policy Changes
This policy may be updated when features, vendors, practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date displayed on the published page should reflect the latest material revision.
